To develop, in conjunction with a leading Solent boat builder, an IMO Tier 3 compliant landing craft that met a wide range of end customer utilisations that was easy to build and then tailor for more niche requirements.
The Solution
USP Maritime spent time with the yard to research their preferred build processes as well as talking to our remote site teams around the world who provide build and project supervison services for a number of high profile shipyards to develop a landing craft optimised for build.
That was then measured against our Naval Architects requirements for a flexible platform to adhere to current and any future anticipated regulatory requirements.

USP has the full skill set required in house to ensure the full design from concept to detailed production design and commissioning was completed without any aspect falling through any contractual gaps or unintended consequences arising from miscommunication. The build went to plan and to the end client's satisfaction.
