Based in West London and the Solent, we are led by James Dryden, Chris Parke and David Dryden.
The USP Senior Management team has a breadth of experience managing large (30+) onsite multidiscipline engineering teams of design engineers and even larger production teams (100+) for large defence and superyacht projects around the UK and internationally combined with hard facilities maintenance and infrastructure projects. USP was born from a desire by the Senior Management team to do business ethically and personably whilst delivering a superior engineering output that had the end user (often a tradesperson on the shopfloor or an operator at sea) in mind.
Chris and James have worked alongside each other for over 10 years on a variety of high-profile heritage yacht restoration projects in the Solent and formed USP Maritime in the summer of 2018 to collaborate on various new build and refit projects to the defence space, David has lead the company to capitalise on our heritage yacht pedigree and customer focused business ethic.
The technical team has been built carefully around Chris Parke and contains some of the best engineers in their disciplines who have a passion for the industry and add value to every project they are involved in. USP Maritime has also been able to supply clients with industry leading supervision and specialist marine tradespeople for discrete private high value projects.
The company is privileged to supply a number of SQEP personnel for UK defence contractors as well as working with clients to support complex commercial ship repair of offshore life extension projects. USP Maritime’s team has high aspirations to deliver an outstanding level of services to our customers and to benefit everyone we work with.
We are passionate about how marine assets are built and used.
