The opulent principality of Monaco squeezed into just 200 hectares, might be the world’s second-smallest country (the Vatican is smaller), but what it lacks in size it makes up for in attitude and glamour. Of course the best place to watch all the racing action is in Port Hercules where the yachts in the prime berths are just metres away from the racetrack. More than 130 super yachts were in harbour on the Thursday last year so that guests could enjoy the Practice Day action.
